TUCKER MOUNTAIN
A love of the mountains prompted the construction of this modern house in Rappahannock County. Perched just high enough up the hillside to look over the picturesque Harris Hollow, but not so high as to be inaccessible in any weather, this house gives views from the church spires of Little Washington all the way up to Skyland Drive.
Exposed in this photo, taken from a mile away, the house is nestled in the trees to provide not only privacy, but also the least possible 'footprint' on the hillside above Fodderstack Road.
