The solar house faces directly south with thickly insulated walls on the north entry side and both east and west sides of the house.
The southern elevation incorporates three levels of simple sliding glass doors on both sides of the thermal envelope that surrounds the south and north walls as well as the roof/attic and underfloor space beneath the house.
