When I see an empty space or an old building in need of renovation, I see possibilities, solutions, and a way to satisfy my client's goals. This is what I do, bring solutions to my clients. I want clients that believe in my dedication to the accomplishment of their own goals. I will help lead my clients and the client's contractors to the accomplishment of those goals.

The architect is not only a design leader but also a building construction leader. As a leader, I seek innovative and well-thought-out solutions during the design process. Then, Those solutions are the successful integration of aesthetics, science, technology and materials, the key to successful building design. I will work with you and all concerned in the construction process as the leader that is needed to achieve your goals. I have shown leadership, not only in more than 35 years as a sole practitioner architect, but also in numerous other roles.

I have served as President of the Northern Virginia Chapter, AIA, the Chapter and State Design Awards Chairman, Treasurer of the Chapter and as Board Member of the Virginia State Society of the AIA.

In the community, I have served as a Director of the Fauquier County Chamber of Commerce, holding the positions of Director of Legislative Affairs and as Board Chairman. Presently I serve a third three-year term on the Fauquier County Building Appeals Board as its Chairman and serve the same role for the Town of Warrenton, VA.
