The small congregation of the Warrenton Christian Scientist Church members had been meeting for years in a small room above their meeting room in rented space on Main Street, Warrenton. The congregation tried twice before to obtain designs and drawings for a new building on their lot in a residential area of Warrenton. Those efforts failed with designs for buildings far above the funds available.

JFT-AIA worked with the entire congregation of 12, and their Building Committee to develop a simple, yet appropriate church building with separate sanctuary and classroom wings.

Ten years after construction was completed the congregation was able to burn their mortgage papers having built, and paid for their building then housing a congregation of about 25 active members.
